The British Prime Minister announced a loan to Ukraine for the purchase of 5,000 air defense missiles.
The United Kingdom has allocated £1.6 billion ($2 billion) to Ukraine for the purchase of air defense missiles. This announcement was made by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a press conference following the European leaders' summit on March 2, which was streamed on YouTube by The Telegraph.

These rockets will be manufactured in Belfast, the Prime Minister clarified, noting that this agreement will create additional jobs in his country.
"This will be vital for protecting critical infrastructure now and strengthening Ukraine's ability to secure peace when it comes," Starmer said.
He emphasized that this assistance is being provided in addition to the announced £2.2 billion loan ($2.8 billion) on March 1.
