In Dnipro, there are plans to construct a McDonald's on the rooftop near the circus (PHOTOS).

In Dnipro, near the circus, there are plans to construct a complex that includes a McDonald's restaurant on the rooftop, as reported by "Vidomo," citing the page of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine on Facebook.

The project was presented by architects Sergey Filimonov, Natalia Kashirina, and Anna Tretyak, and it is participating in the NSAU-2024 award competition.

The concept of the design is based on playing with the terrain. One of the building's facades aligns with an important pedestrian axis that leads from the city center to the waterfront. The structure, along with the circus and the square in front of it, forms a unified complex situated on the main pedestrian transit route between the city and the river.

The entrance to the restaurant's halls is oriented towards the pedestrian axis and can be accessed from two levels: via a staircase from the waterfront and a ramp from the circus side. The McDrive area, restaurant loading zone, and parking access are located on Nyrinberh Street. Access to the usable roof is available both from the circus side and from within the establishment via a staircase located in a separate cylindrical volume.

Functionally, the first floor includes: a space for visitors, a kitchen, staff room, product reception and storage, and shelter areas. The second floor contains spaces for visitors and staff, as well as technical rooms. The usable roof features an amphitheater, a children's playground, and a terrace.
