The "West" OIC announced that it is lawful to fine city mayors for failing to meet mobilization plans.

The imposition of a fine on the mayor of Drohobych, Taras Kuchma, for failing to meet mobilization plans was lawful. This was stated on January 29 in a comment to "BBC News Ukraine" by a source in the operational command "West," which oversees the territorial recruitment and social support centers in the Lviv region.
В ОК "Запад" подтвердили законность штрафов для мэров городов за несоблюдение планов по мобилизации.

"Local self-government bodies, in particular, ensure the primary military registration of conscripts, reservists, and those liable for military service, as well as notification measures and ensure the arrival of reservists and military personnel at assembly points," explained the military representative.

According to Kuchma, he was initially invited to the district territorial center to receive a decree, and when he did not attend, the leadership of the TCZ sent a letter to the police for a forced summons.

The "West" Operational Command noted that the head of the Drogobych RTC and SP of Lviv region acted "within the powers and competencies granted to him."

A source from "BBC News Ukraine" within the military command described the situation as an "emotional misunderstanding" and stated that it has already been "resolved."

"In the context of the ongoing aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, we urge all participants in this process to engage in coordinated work, which should pursue a single goal – our victory," stated the "West" Operational Command.
