The Pavlograd Interdistrict Court has decided to place a local 9th grader under round-the-clock house arrest for attempting to set fire to a vehicle belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by "Vідомо" with reference to "Бегемот".
It has been established that the 14-year-old 9th-grade student agreed via Telegram to set fire to military vehicles in Pavlograd for a monetary reward.
After purchasing two bottles of flammable liquid from an unknown individual, the minor attempted to ignite a car by pouring the flammable substance on a section of the vehicle's body between the windshield and the hood, but was stopped by a local resident before he could set it on fire.
The actions of the suspect are classified by the investigation under part 3 of article 15 and part 2 of article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
