As a result of a cynical attack on the city, seven educational institutions were affected. This is reported by "Vідомо" referencing the Dnipro City Council.
In particular, schools No. 98 and No. 108 suffered damage in the form of broken windows. The situation was even more critical at school No. 129: not only were the windows damaged, but the entrance doors were also affected.
Kindergarten No. 386 was also not spared from the destruction—both windows and doors were shattered, while at preschool institution No. 220, windows were simply blown off their hinges due to powerful explosions and a strong blast.
In other kindergartens, such as No. 351 and No. 392, the damage was less severe: only one window was affected in rooms that were not involved in the educational process during the attack. Currently, all general secondary education institutions are operating in a standby mode, as it is now vacation time.
In schools No. 136, 108, 57, and at the "Energetik" House of Culture, "Points of Invincibility" have been opened where residents can find shelter and support. Shelters have also been arranged in schools No. 11 and 27.
