NATO or the return of nuclear status? I support an ultimatum - Yuri Sapronov.

Businessman and volunteer Yuri Sapronov discusses the need to choose between Ukraine's accession to NATO and the restoration of its nuclear status.
НАТО или восстановление ядерного статуса? Юрий Сапронов выступает за ультиматум.

I hope everyone has watched and listened to President Zelensky's direct speech regarding the "choice" — NATO and nuclear weapons.

Bravo.

I support the creation of nuclear weapons.

We are certainly capable of doing it.

I know.

I have spoken multiple times with physicists from the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology during the invasion.

It was at this Kharkiv institute, then known as UFTI, that the scientists Kirill Sinelnikov, Anton Walter, Alexander Leipunsky, and Georgy Latyshev were the first in the world to split the nucleus of lithium.

The institute is still active today.

This is solely due to the talented physicists who "live" (survive) despite the blatant lack of funding and the complete disregard for the problems faced by scientists, the Academy of Sciences, and the state.

A quarter of all Soviet pre-war physics was produced by UFTI.

To be precise, I am "for" NATO.

But.

We are being "led" and will continue to be "led by the nose."

Because they are terrified of Putin.

And they do not want to stop him firmly.

There are countless options.

In the spring of 2022, the "Western partners" were to blame for waiting for Putin to quickly capture Ukraine and Kyiv.

And in the autumn of 2022, the "Western partners" did not allow entry into Russian territory after the liberation of Kharkiv Oblast.

And in late spring, early summer 2023, the "Western partners" were at fault, having promised but failed to provide the quality and quantity of promised weaponry on time.

They are ALWAYS late, as if on purpose.

Only the courage and heroism, primarily of the warriors, and subsequently of the citizens, have prevented Putin's plans from coming to fruition.

I do not even believe in the deep concern and worry of our Western partners.

I do not believe!

That is why I support an ultimatum:

Either tomorrow (hypothetically) we join NATO.

Or the day after tomorrow (hypothetically) we will REGAIN our nuclear status ourselves.

This will be the best guarantee of our security.

Yes, we will be squeezed, denied funding, sanctions will be imposed, and the IAEA and the UN will scream.

We will endure.
