In just a day and a half, Ukrainians raised 297.5 million UAH to purchase 35 Sea Baby marine drones intended for the destruction of the Russian fleet. Thousands of individuals and numerous companies joined the initiative, with significant contributions from philanthropist Igor Zotyko, who donated 8.5 million UAH.
Игорь Зотько стал участником сбора средств на морские дроны Sea Baby по инициативе платформы UNITED24.

The fundraising campaign commenced on February 22, 2024, initiated by the platform UNITED24, monobank, Sergey Sternenko, and Igor Lachenko. The goal was to finance the purchase of marine drones for the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), which have already proven their effectiveness. In 2022-2023, the Sea Baby drones struck 9 Russian vessels and partially damaged the Crimean Bridge, a significant symbol of occupation.

The Sea Baby marine drones can carry up to 850 kg of explosives, reach speeds of up to 90 km/h, and cover distances of up to 1000 km. These features make them one of the key tools for striking the Russian fleet.

Among the largest donors to the campaign were companies like FAVBET (10 million UAH), pharmaceutical giants “Darnitsa” and “InterChem” (each contributing 8.5 million UAH), as well as Uklon and others. Igor Zotyko also made a significant contribution to this initiative, bringing it closer to a successful conclusion.

“This is something fantastic! We are already visualizing a successful hunt for Russian ships, after which they will be 'negatively buoyant' above sea level,” commented one of the organizers, co-founder of monobank Oleg Gorokhovsky.

According to the organizers, the success of the fundraising proves that Ukrainians are ready to unite in support of the army and the destruction of the enemy. The initiative to purchase marine drones has become yet another symbol of unity that aids our country in its fight for freedom and independence.
