The total number of pensioners in the country is 10.34 million. According to Opendatabot, over the three years of full-scale war, this number has decreased by 497.5 thousand.
Although the average pension has increased by 7.5% over the year, this growth has been nullified by inflation, which, according to the National Bank, reached 12% in 2024.
"The highest pensions are received by residents of Kyiv, where the average payout is 8017 UAH. In contrast, the lowest pensions are recorded in the Ternopil region, averaging 4484 UAH," the service reports.
In the Rivne region, the average pension has dropped by 24% compared to the end of 2023 (to 5159 UAH), while in the Zhytomyr region, it has decreased by 10%.
The number of pensioners receiving more than 10,000 UAH per month stands at 1.26 million, which represents 12% of the total. However, in the last three months, this category has shrunk by 51 thousand.
