The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, announced that a Headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of the accident and the connection of homes to heating will operate in Kryvyi Rih, as reported by "Vidomo".

"This is the outcome of the operational meeting led by the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba. The headquarters is headed by his deputy, Timur Tkachenko," noted Lysak.

According to him, homes without heating will be removed from the electricity disconnection schedules. This is to ensure that residents have a constant electricity supply to heat their homes. Special attention will be paid to utility bills, so that people are not forced to pay for a service they are not actually receiving.

The newly established headquarters has been tasked with ensuring centralized heating supply in homes, which includes about a thousand houses, as well as in hospitals and schools.

"At the same time, we are starting an inventory of all housing and communal enterprises. We will recheck their readiness for the heating season to prevent similar situations in the future," Lysak emphasized.
