The head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, mentioned in an interview with "Vidomo" that the communities of Dnipropetrovsk region are generally provided with stable heating; however, Kryvyi Rih remains a problematic area.
"The wear and tear of heat networks and emergency power outages at the enterprise's facilities, including due to periodic shelling of energy infrastructure, have led to the occurrence of hydraulic shocks in heating networks, resulting in a sharp increase in the number of emergency pipeline damages. By order of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba, an operational headquarters has been established to manage the elimination of the consequences of accidents in the city's networks of Kryvyi Rih," emphasized Lysak.
According to the head of OVA, NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" and JSC "Kryvyi Rih Heat Power Plant" have developed a schedule for carrying out repair works and a timeline for connecting residential buildings and the social sector to heating supply.
"A total of 46 repair teams from JSC 'Kryvyi Rih Heat Power Plant' are involved in the repair works, with additional teams from NJSC 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' also being engaged. This matter is under round-the-clock control until the full resumption of heating services," noted the head of Dnipro OVA.
