Spain will provide Ukraine with €10 million for humanitarian assistance.

During his visit to Lviv, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced an additional €10 million in humanitarian aid for Ukraine. This information was reported by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on January 28.

According to him, these funds will be allocated by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and will complement the €100 million that Spain has already provided to Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion.

During his visit to the hospital in Lviv, Albares also announced the dispatch of a Spanish team of medical trainers to educate Ukrainian healthcare workers. Furthermore, it was noted that nearly 7,000 Ukrainian military personnel have already undergone training in Spain.

The agency added that Albares also reaffirmed support for Ukraine's accession process to the European Union, which began during Spain's presidency in the EU.
