Andrey Zakrevsky, the chairman of the Gas and Oil Association of Ukraine, predicts a significant increase in electricity distribution tariffs for businesses in 2025. Such a rise in electricity costs could lead to higher prices for utility services.

The government aims to stabilize tariffs in the short term; however, the situation may change by the end of 2025. According to Zakrevsky, there are no exact figures yet, but a noticeable increase in payment amounts is anticipated.

Additionally, Oleg Popenko, the head of the Utility Consumers Union, suggests that electricity prices for households may rise in June 2025. His estimates indicate that the tariff could increase from the current level of 4.32 UAH per kWh to 6.48 UAH per kWh, which aligns with market prices announced earlier in 2024.
