On Tuesday, November 19, public transport in the city of Dnipro will operate with changes, reports "Vydomo" citing the transport department.
Due to repair work in this area, buses No. 57A and No. 88, which head towards Queen Elizabeth II Street, will have to alter their routes and take a detour. This means that passengers should be prepared for their journey to take longer than usual.
Additionally, changes will also affect trolleybuses. Routes No. 7, No. 14, No. 17, and No. 20, which are also headed towards Queen Elizabeth II and European streets, will take a detour via Sicheslavska Embankment and Volodymyr Monomakh Street. This may cause further delays as trolleybuses will be traveling on alternative routes.
Another reason for the route changes is the demolition of emergency structures of one of the buildings at Vokzalna Square.
As a result, the final stops for several bus routes have also been relocated.
For instance, bus routes No. 7K and No. 101 will now terminate their routes at Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue, near house number 108.
It is also worth noting that bus route No. 32K, trolleybus route B, and tram route No. 1 will now have their final stops at Vokzalna Square, but near house number 2.
Due to the repair of the tram crossing at the intersection of Lesia Ukrainka Avenue and Dnipro Battalion Boulevard, changes will also be made to public transport operations. For example, trolleybus No. 4, which heads to Soborna Square, will continue to operate via 128th Territorial Defense Brigade Street and Dmytro Yavornytsky Avenue.
As for trolleybus "A," which goes to Heroes of Maidan Square, it will also be rerouted through Lesia Ukrainka Avenue and 128th Territorial Defense Brigade Street.
Trams No. 5 and No. 12 will continue to operate on their full routes, including a stop on Mykola Rudenko Street towards Stepan Bandera Street. Tram No. 17 has temporarily suspended its operations, which may also affect passengers using this route.
Buses No. 32, No. 32K, No. 33, and No. 4 will also follow altered routes, which may add to delays and confusion. The detour around the problematic section will be as follows: Stepan Bandera Street – Volodymyr Antonovych Street – Dnipro Battalion Boulevard – Lesia Ukrainka Avenue, and then continue on their routes.
Passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance, considering the new routes and stops to avoid any inconvenience.
