Canada has allocated $305.7 million in military aid to Ukraine.

Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair announced the allocation of 440 million Canadian dollars (approximately $305.7 million) in military assistance to Ukraine. He made this announcement during the 25th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the "Ramstein" format on January 9, as reported on the Canadian government's website.
Канада выделила Украине $305,7 млн в виде военной помощи.

According to him, 200 million Canadian dollars will be allocated for a Czech initiative to purchase large-caliber ammunition, 50 million for buying ammunition of various calibers from Canadian industry, and 100 million to support the Danish model of producing strike drones in Ukraine.

Blair referred to UAVs as "critically important" for the country during the war. He emphasized that they will be manufactured in Ukraine, as the nation's defense industry, according to him, is performing well with innovations and experiments.

Additionally, the minister announced the provision of 30 million Canadian dollars for winter gear (sleeping bags, winter footwear, and thermal underwear, several batches of which arrived in Ukraine in December 2024).

Moreover, 64 million were allocated for high-precision drone cameras, which were delivered to Ukraine in November and December.

This assistance is part of the additional military aid to Ukraine amounting to 500 million Canadian dollars, announced at the NATO summit in 2024.

In total, Ottawa has provided Kyiv with assistance worth 4.5 billion Canadian dollars since Moscow's invasion, as detailed on the government website.
