According to Kim, the deputy is not evading law enforcement and is cooperating with the investigation.
"Firstly, there is a presumption of innocence. Secondly, I have known her for about 20 years, back when she worked in the insurance business. She went to receive this suspicion; she is not hiding from the investigation. The investigation will determine who is at fault, and I don't need to comment on that. I just know that this will allow her to continue working," Kim stated.
The head of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People," David Arakhamia, who is also a guarantor for Kormyshkina, commented under the post by MP Maryana Bezuhla on Facebook that her guilt should first be determined by the court.
"To stand as a guarantor means that the person will not evade investigative actions and will calmly go to work and vote on necessary laws for the country. There is nothing alarming about this. In the country, there is a presumption of innocence until the court proves otherwise," Arakhamia wrote.
