The mayor of Kamensky, Belousov, announced the closure of two swimming pools in the city.

The Mayor of Kamensky, Andrey Belousov, explained why the swimming pools in two educational institutions of the city, specifically Lyceums No. 15 and No. 44, have been temporarily closed. He wrote about this on Telegram, as reported by "Vidomo".

"Due to the massive shelling of energy facilities, rolling blackouts have been introduced across the country. As a result, the swimming pools in Lyceums 15 and 44 are temporarily closed. The power outages prevent us from maintaining the water temperature in the pool at an acceptable level and make it impossible to operate the boilers," he wrote.

Belousov also mentioned that swimming lessons will continue in the form of physical education classes.

"The swimming pools will resume operations as soon as the situation in Ukraine's energy system stabilizes and the rolling blackouts are lifted," the mayor assured.
