The Deloitte Shared Services Awards is an international prize that annually identifies leaders among companies providing services through shared service centers.
It is organized by Deloitte, one of the largest global firms offering audit and consulting services, and a member of the "Big Four" auditors worldwide. Winners were selected in four categories.
In addition to "Metinvest Business Service," the expert jury also recognized the IT company _VOIS in the "Innovations through New Technologies" category and the food company MARS in the "Diversity and Inclusion. Leader in the Field of Shared Services" category.
This year, the conference focused on tools that can help businesses endure and succeed. "Metinvest" was represented at the conference by the group's CFO Yulia Dankova and the CEO of "Metinvest Business Service" Oksana Zaremba. They discussed business transformation and adaptation to the changing business environment of clients during wartime.
Among the key tools ensuring the company's continuity, the leaders highlighted flexible management, the application of proactive planning and innovative thinking, the implementation of new technologies, and risk management planning.
"For the group 'Metinvest' and 'Metinvest Business Service', this is the first nomination in history and the first international recognition in the field of service provision. This is a high appreciation of our sustainable development strategy and our experience, as these awards are given to those who genuinely impact life, society, and the environment by creating new formats and meanings for business," noted the CFO of the 'Metinvest' group.
During the conference, representatives of "Metinvest" also shared experiences in establishing communication, mutual support within teams, and timely feedback. The speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining employee well-being and mental health, and discussed how to stabilize company operations during blackouts, blockades, and shelling.
"Deloitte experts assessed the experience of 'Metinvest Business Service' as relevant and useful, and our practices as highly adaptive and resilient. And this is all about a business that operates successfully in a country where combat operations have been ongoing for three years. I am very grateful to each member of our team for their contribution to our common cause," said Oksana Zaremba.
