The city of Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region has welcomed two significant institutions that were evacuated from the combat zone in Donbas. These include the humanitarian hub of the Maryinka City Military Administration and the comprehensive rehabilitation center for individuals with disabilities, "Light of Hope," which was previously located in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. The relocation of these institutions is part of a large-scale program aimed at assisting displaced persons from Donbas who have been affected by the military actions. This information was reported by "Vidomo," referencing "Independent Portal".

The humanitarian hub in Pavlohrad plays a crucial role in supporting approximately 9,000 residents of Donbas who have found refuge in Pavlohrad and other cities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This "island of hope" offers a wide range of services, from food, clothing, and essential items to comprehensive informational and advisory support.

Specialists at the hub assist displaced individuals with document processing, clarify the nuances of social protection and pension provision, and provide psychological support, which is vital for those who have experienced stress and loss. Its operations are organized to minimize bureaucratic hurdles and ensure the swift resolution of emerging issues.

Particular attention should be given to the Maryinka comprehensive rehabilitation center "Light of Hope," which operates based on the aforementioned structure. The center offers rehabilitation and correction services for children and adults with disabilities. Here, the center's specialists provide comprehensive assistance aimed at improving the physical and mental well-being of patients. The center's rehabilitation programs include speech correction (working on pronunciation and vocabulary expansion), neuropsychological correction (restoring cognitive functions), as well as activities aimed at developing fine motor skills, mathematical abilities, and adaptation to new living conditions.

The center has been equipped with modern facilities tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities, enabling effective rehabilitation activities. Additionally, its specialists, being based at the hub, have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other organizations that provide medical and social services, ensuring an integrated approach to rehabilitation.

Establishing such centers in our region is a crucial step towards ensuring a dignified life and social adaptation for individuals with disabilities.
