Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, the Medical Forces Command, and the head of the parliamentary committee, Alexander Zavitenovich, participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, the urgent need for legislative amendments was highlighted. According to the proposed changes, individuals under the age of 25 and those officially recognized as disabled will no longer be required to undergo a repeated military medical commission (VLC).
Additionally, the period for undergoing the military medical commission will be extended from February 5 to June 5. The corresponding bill, registered under number 12457, was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada today.

Issues regarding the organization of the process were also discussed to ensure that individuals can complete the VLC within the established deadlines. It was decided that until the law is officially adopted, the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) will not penalize those who do not meet the February 5 deadline and will not declare such individuals wanted. A relevant directive will be sent to the appropriate authorities regarding this matter.
Vereshchuk emphasized the importance of clear communication from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health, and other responsible agencies. She urged them to take special care in informing citizens, issuing both electronic and paper referrals, and ensuring that updated schedules are properly communicated to the military medical commissions.
