In 2025, Pavlohrad plans to allocate 749.4 thousand hryvnias for organizing celebrations, despite the current challenging situation in the country. Due to the military aggression from Russia and the circumstances in the country and region, New Year's festivities will not be held in a significant manner. This is stated in the explanatory note to the draft decision of the Pavlohrad City Council "On the Budget of the Pavlohrad City Territorial Community for 2025," as reported by "Vydomo."
However, in the future, city authorities still intend to revive the tradition of celebration, reflecting a hope for the restoration of peaceful life and a return to normal conditions.
The budget draft includes funds for organizing both nationwide and local events.
In particular, next year it is planned to hold 42 cultural and artistic events, with average costs for each amounting to about 17.8 thousand hryvnias. These events may include concerts, exhibitions, theatrical performances, and other forms of cultural leisure.
