A person was hit by a train in Dnipro after getting on and off the tracks.

In Dnipro, an emergency occurred on the railway on Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky Street, reports "Vydomo" citing "Dnipro Operative".

According to the train driver, he saw a man lying on the tracks. The man attempted to get up but fell each time. It is likely that he was under the influence of alcohol. The driver initiated emergency braking, but it was already too late.

As a result, the man lost a leg, and his body was thrown to the other side of the tracks. Law enforcement is investigating all circumstances of the incident.
