From February 1 to 2, daytime temperatures in Ukraine will range from +1 to +6 °C, while in the southern regions, temperatures will be higher, reaching +8 to +12 °C on Saturday. However, this warming trend will be short-lived, as a shift towards colder weather will affect all regions of Ukraine.

Rain is expected mainly in the central parts of the country, with light precipitation also anticipated in the south and east. The western and northern regions will be covered with dense cloud cover, and wet snow may occur in the Carpathians.

In Kyiv, cloudy weather is expected on February 1-2, with no significant precipitation. Saturday's temperature is expected to reach +5 °C, dropping to around +3 °C by Sunday. Throughout the week, temperatures in Kyiv, as well as in the rest of the country, will sharply fall to around zero.

Preliminary forecasts predict daytime temperatures around 3°C, with nighttime temperatures ranging from -3°C to -8°C, while clear skies may slightly lower the temperatures.

Considering this transition from almost spring-like warmth to much colder conditions, an increase in electricity consumption is anticipated as people seek to stay warm.
