In particular, the changes will affect pensions that exceed 23,610 hryvnias. This was reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
According to the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025", the new regulations pertain to special pensions that are granted under specific laws. This includes payments to civil servants, prosecutors, members of parliament, and other categories of individuals.
Coefficient System for Payment Calculations
The government has approved a new coefficient system that regulates the amount of payments based on the pension amount. Here is how this system works:
- From 23,610 to 25,971 hryvnias - coefficient 0.5
- From 25,971 to 30,693 hryvnias - coefficient 0.4
- From 30,693 to 40,137 hryvnias - coefficient 0.3
- From 40,137 to 49,581 hryvnias - coefficient 0.2
- More than 49,581 hryvnias - coefficient 0.1
Exceptions to the New Rules
These restrictions do not apply to the following categories of citizens:
- Participants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) and individuals who participated in resisting armed aggression from Russia.
- Family members of military personnel who died while on duty.
