The regulator maintained electricity price limits since December but left an "opportunity window" open.
The National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC) has decided to maintain the electricity market price cap without any changes starting in December. This decision was made during a meeting on November 25, as reported by ExPro.

It is noted that if there is a sharp change in the market situation, a revision of the price limits may be possible in December.
"At the same time, I would like to draw attention to the fact that we are opening the relevant procedure in December, if necessary, to ensure an objective and correct resolution of issues. This is to provide us with a window of opportunity in case of a significant change in the market situation," said Yuri Vlasenko, chairman of the NCRECU.
