During the week from November 18 to 24, over 2,000 parking violation fines were issued in Dnipro.

Every day in Dnipro, a significant number of drivers leave their vehicles in areas not designated for parking. This was reported by "Vydomo," citing Unified Parking Space.

It is noted that in addition to numerous preventive talks with drivers, over the past week, inspectors have:

issued more than 1800 fines for parking violations;
towed over 60 vehicles that were left by their owners with significant violations.

As is known, towing occurs when vehicles are parked on pedestrian crossings, intersections, sidewalks, public transport stops, and in cases where they block the movement of other vehicles, particularly emergency services or public transport.

Each of these violations will cost vehicle owners a substantial amount – towing fees range from 2110 to 2410 UAH, storage fees for the vehicle are 144 UAH per day, and the fine for the violation is 680 UAH. Additionally, it is important to remember that the administrative penalty is imposed on the vehicle owner, not the driver.
