Former mayor of Ternovka, Pyotr Bashkatov, has passed away.

On Wednesday, November 13, the heart of Pyotr Petrovich Bashkatov, an honorary citizen of Ternovka, stopped beating at the age of 82. This was reported by the executive committee of the Ternovka City Council, according to "Vidomo".

It is known that Pyotr Petrovich Bashkatov served as the mayor of Ternovka from 1994 to 2002. During his tenure, the reconstruction of Kharkov Street was carried out, the gasification of the private sector continued, and partial road repairs were made. For the city's water supply, a platform was built in the Sosnovka area, a pipeline was laid to the CRP, two houses were constructed near the "Mayak" shopping center, and much more.

"Pyotr Petrovich was respected and valued for his professionalism, compassion, dedication to his work, demanding nature, persistence, and a strong sense of responsibility. He was a worthy person," the message states.
