In Dnipro, a drug dealer will face trial for sending psychotropic substances via couriers (VIDEO).

Investigators from Dnipro have submitted an indictment to the court against an individual involved in the illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances in the city, reports "Vydomo" citing the Dnipropetrovsk police.

During searches, law enforcement seized nearly 400,000 hryvnias worth of drugs from a 24-year-old man. The pre-trial investigation revealed that the suspect was selling psychotropics through stash spots and courier delivery services. During a search of the suspect's residence, 500 grams of a narcotic substance were confiscated, along with electronic scales, a mobile phone, a laptop, and zip-lock bags for packaging drugs.

The man was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and under the procedural guidance of the Levoberezhna District Prosecutor's Office of the city, he was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 307 (illegal acquisition and storage of particularly dangerous psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigators from the Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 have sent the indictment against the suspect to the court.
