Work has been carried out to strengthen the shoreline in the coastal park, reports the correspondent of "Vidomo".
This was necessary due to issues with erosion in the coastal area. The granite curb, which began to slide into the river, was damaged by the waves of the Dnieper. To address this problem, specialists implemented a series of measures aimed at reinforcing the shore.
Specifically, a retaining wall was installed to prevent further sliding of the granite. The shoreline was also leveled, filled with gravel, and reinforced with large boulders. These boulders serve not only a decorative purpose but also function as breakwaters, protecting the granite surface from erosion caused by the waves.
