In Dnipro, a significant amount (over 7.5 million hryvnias) is set to be allocated for the round-the-clock security of invincibility points. This decision, made by the city authorities, aims to ensure the safety of citizens utilizing these essential infrastructure facilities, particularly amid the ongoing military conflict. This was reported by "Vidomo".
The security program is planned for the period from February 17 to December 31, 2025. According to the tender documentation, one guard will provide security for 24 invincibility points on a 24/7 basis. The total duration of security services amounts to a substantial 94,248 hours.
The contract's cost anticipates payment of approximately 80 hryvnias per hour for the guard's work. This is slightly higher than the average market price, which is estimated to be around 60 hryvnias per hour in regular supermarkets in Dnipro. However, this situation is justified by the heightened security requirements of the invincibility points.
The security of invincibility points entails a much broader range of tasks - guards must be prepared to respond to various emergencies, including maintaining order and acts of vandalism.
In addition to standard security skills, candidates for the position will need additional capabilities, such as basic first aid knowledge, proficiency in communication tools, and the ability to work under stress.
Overall, the allocated amount represents a significant investment in ensuring the safety of Dnipro's residents.
We hope that the transparency and effectiveness of the allocated funds will be subject to thorough monitoring by both the public and regulatory bodies.
