Denis Zhatkin, the owner of the popular Dnipro pub "Kedy Iskusoveda," has announced the closure of his project "Donernaya" in Dnipro. He shared this news with his followers on Facebook, reflecting on his four-year experience related to this initiative, as reported by "Vydamo."

Zhatkin noted that this period was a true journey for him, allowing him to not only realize his ideas but also immerse himself in the world of street food, which has always been close to his heart. He enthusiastically recalled his trips to cities such as Istanbul, Berlin, Heraklion, and Tel Aviv, where he sought inspiration and new recipes for his establishment. These travels were filled with vivid impressions and, of course, gastronomic discoveries.

Denis also shared memories of standing in lines, tasting various dishes, and soaking up the atmosphere of street food.

"I ate a lot! Really a lot of street food!" - he wrote, emphasizing his passion for this type of cuisine.

However, despite all his efforts, Zhatkin faced challenges that ultimately led to the closure of "Donernaya." He realized that creating a quality and affordable product simultaneously is an extremely difficult task.

"As is well known, you can't do it cheaply, coolly, and quickly," - he pointed out, adding that there was a lack of financial flexibility for implementing innovations and training the team.

Part of the business was sold, while another part was closed, and now Denis's team is focusing on new authorial projects that genuinely inspire them. He expressed gratitude to his partners and colleagues who worked with him at "Donernaya," as well as to all the guests who supported and loved this project.

"Until we meet again. Until new projects!" - Zhatkin concluded, humorously adding that he won't want shawarma for a long time.

This farewell to "Donernaya" is not an end but the beginning of a new stage in his career and life, filled with hopes of creating something unique and inspiring in the world of gastronomy.
