On the evening of November 17, emergency responders extricated an injured driver from a damaged vehicle following a traffic accident in the Dnipro district. This was reported by "Vydomo," referencing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.
A call was made to the emergency service "101" on the evening of November 17, indicating that a person was trapped inside a mangled car due to a road traffic accident outside the village of Slobozhanske in the Dnipro district.
Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers determined that there had been a collision between a VAZ-2109 and a VAZ-2105. As a result of the accident, the driver of the latter vehicle was pinned inside. Medical personnel had already hospitalized the driver of the other car before the rescuers arrived.
Using emergency rescue tools, the responders freed the injured man and handed him over to emergency medical services.
A total of 5 rescuers and 1 piece of equipment from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region were dispatched to the scene.
Police are conducting an investigation to establish the circumstances of the accident.
