In a city of Dnipropetrovsk region, a city council member was assaulted.

In Ternovka, near the city hall, city council deputy Konstantin Kholodov was brutally beaten, reports "Vidomo" citing Begemot.

The attack occurred in a parking lot. That day, a conciliatory council was taking place at the city council before a session. It is believed that the beating is related to his parliamentary activities, as Kholodov opposed allocating funds to a local communal enterprise, whose management is currently on trial for embezzling budget funds.

It has been noted that the victim was taken to the hospital with a broken jaw and underwent surgery.
