The Cabinet described the heating situation in Kryvyi Rih as critical.

Currently, around 110,000 residents of Kryvyi Rih are without heating. The city is not providing heat to 934 residential buildings, 11 hospitals, 43 educational institutions, as well as the territorial center for social services. This is reported by Ministry of Development, as conveyed by "Vidomo".

The First Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Vasyl Shkurakov, held an urgent meeting regarding the critical situation of the heating season in Kryvyi Rih.

"At present, 934 residential buildings, 11 healthcare facilities, including Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 16, which has an inpatient department, 43 educational institutions, and the territorial center for social protection remain without heating. This affects approximately 110,000 residents who are still without heat,” – states the ministry's message.

Shkurakov listened to reports from the city authorities, the regional military administration, representatives of the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz," and Kryvyi Rih Thermal Power Plant, and instructed them to quickly prepare an emergency plan for restoring heating supply for all subscribers. This plan should include clear timelines, responsible individuals, and a mechanism for daily reporting.

"The disruption of the heating season is unacceptable, as it affects the lives and health of tens of thousands of people. All responsible parties must act as efficiently as possible to resolve the issue in the shortest time. The supply of heat to the homes of Kryvyi Rih residents must be restored without delay,” – emphasized Shkurakov.

The State Emergency Service, together with local authorities, is prepared to deploy additional Points of Invincibility if such a need arises.
