In Kamenskoe, medical staff assisted a woman in rapid labor right inside an ambulance. This was reported by Larisa Budantseva, the head of the Kamenskoe station at the regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine.
On October 20 at 0:39, a call came into the Central Regional Dispatch 103 from the city of Kamenskoe regarding the labor of a 36-year-old woman. An emergency team from the Kamenskoe station of the Central Substation of the regional emergency medical service promptly responded to the call.
Upon arrival at the scene, the team found the woman in active labor with her fifth pregnancy. The team worked swiftly and efficiently, and a healthy, full-term baby boy was born before four girls. The newborn received an initial check-up, the umbilical cord was treated, and both mother and child were hospitalized in satisfactory condition at the 9th maternity hospital in Kamenskoe.
"Home births no longer surprise anyone. Women are not in a rush to get to the maternity hospital, knowing that there is an ambulance available," Budantseva noted.
