On Friday, November 29, around fifty residents of Kryvyi Rih gathered for a peaceful demonstration outside the city council building. The citizens are demanding that the responsible companies provide uninterrupted heating and water supply services. This was reported by "Vidomo" referencing "Na Chasi" and "Suspilne Dnipro".

To draw attention to the issues of heating and water supply in the city, the protesters brought three pieces of rusty pipes adorned with mourning ribbons. These symbolize the dead heating and water supply systems. The attendees laid flowers with mourning ribbons at the pipes and observed a moment of silence in their memory.

The protest was named "Holodomor" by the demonstrators.

The residents are demanding that the acting mayor and his unemployed son report on the status of the promised optimization plan for the heating system, which was supposed to be delivered last year, as they are still left without heat since 2015.

"This is not our first demonstration. Last heating season, we were here demanding an optimized heating system for the city, but the inter-heating season has passed, and the situation has only worsened," say the participants of the protest.

The active community of the city has prepared an appeal to Minister Oleksiy Kuleba. They are requesting the inclusion of an initiative group from the territorial community in the meetings of the Heating Headquarters.

It should be noted that currently, there are still 561 homes in the city without heating.
