A man was rescued from a burning apartment in Marganets.

Late in the evening on November 17, a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a five-story residential building on Boulevard Street in the city of Marganets, Nikopol district. The flames engulfed the balcony and household items over an area of 6 square meters. This was reported by "Vідомо" citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Rescuers promptly arrived at the scene, removed a man from the smoke-filled room, and handed him over to medical personnel. The victim was hospitalized with a preliminary diagnosis of thermal burns to the right leg.

At 10:55 PM, the fire was extinguished. The causes of the ignition are under investigation.
