The Ministry of Health has announced a new start date for the repairs of "Okhmatdet," which was damaged by a Russian missile.

Construction work to restore the main building of the "Okhmatdyt" children's hospital in Kyiv, which was damaged during a Russian missile strike on July 8, is set to begin in the spring of 2025. This announcement was made by Ukraine's Minister of Health, Viktor Liashko, during a briefing, as reported by "Ukrinform."
Минздрав сообщил о новой дате начала ремонта "Охматдета", пострадавшего от удара российской ракеты.

According to him, specific timelines for the restoration work will be determined after the development of the project documentation.

As stated by Deputy Minister of Health Edem Adamanov, a technical report was prepared based on the results of the technical inspection of the main and surgical buildings, which is to be evaluated by the customer service, represented by the international engineering company Eptisa.

The hospital itself lacks the capacity to conduct a technical assessment, he added.

Conservation projects will be developed for the toxicological and administrative buildings, as these structures are considered cultural heritage sites. This is expected to last for five years, Lяшко added.

On July 27, the Ministry of Health's press service reported that the modern building of "Okhmatdet" is planned to be restored by winter.
