В Павлограде мужчину оштрафовали за то, что он подглядывал за своей любимой через окна.

In Pavlograd, a man was punished for peering into the windows of his beloved. A resident of the city was obsessed with his ex-wife and, despite a court order, continued to stalk her. The court ruled that he was prohibited from approaching the woman and her residence within a distance of 50 meters, and there was also a complete ban on any form of contact – phone calls, SMS messages, correspondence in messengers, and contact through third parties. This was reported by "Vідомо," citing the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Such restrictions were imposed to protect the woman from potential aggression from her ex-husband, considering his previous behavior. However, the man disregarded the court's decision and, succumbing to overwhelming sorrow, went to the home of his ex-wife's parents, where she was living after the divorce.

He not only approached the house but also committed a more serious violation—looking through the window and seeing that his ex-wife was not home (she was in Kharkiv with their child at the time), he issued a series of threats, sending messages to her mobile phone in which he spoke of physical harm. The woman was forced to seek help from the Pavlograd District Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

In court, the desperate husband explained his actions as a desire to see his child and his longing for his ex-wife. However, from the perspective of law enforcement, this did not justify his actions, which are a serious violation of the law and pose a significant threat to the woman's safety.

A plea of guilty in court and expressions of remorse, while considered mitigating circumstances, cannot fully mitigate the severity of the committed crime.

Article 390-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, under which this "infatuated" citizen was charged, provides for liability for non-compliance with a decision, particularly one that prohibits approaching a certain person or place. The court sentenced the Pavlograd resident to a probationary supervision for a period of 1 year.
