"Espresso prices in Ukraine have increased again: on average, in 2024, a cup of coffee costs 31 UAH. This is an 11% rise compared to 2023. Overall, the price of espresso in Ukraine has surged 1.7 times since the onset of the full-scale war" [...] – from 19 UAH in 2021 to 33 UAH by the end of 2024," the statement reads.
The service reports that the "espresso index" saw the highest increase in Vinnytsia region, rising "by 29%" to 31 UAH per cup. Meanwhile, the price of coffee remained unchanged in Kharkiv region at 34 UAH.
"As of the end of December, the most expensive coffee in Ukraine, as in 2023, is consumed in Odesa region: 40 UAH per cup. Over the year, the price in the region has risen by 20%. Next is Lviv region, where a cup of espresso will cost 39 UAH. [...] The cheapest coffee for the past two years can be found in Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions: 28 UAH per cup," noted Opendatabot.
