The anticipated significant drop in temperatures across Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk region, will not result in forced power outages, reports "Vydomo" citing "Ukrenergo".
It is noted that there are currently no forecasts for power supply restrictions. The expected level of temperature decrease will not lead to significant issues and does not necessitate the implementation of limiting measures.
"Ukrenergo" states that the situation in Ukraine's energy system remains stable. Energy specialists are preparing for all scenarios, including a sharp drop in air temperature.
Furthermore, energy experts emphasize that the sole reason for the forced implementation of outages has always been and remains the destruction of energy infrastructure due to Russian missile and drone attacks.
Previously, we reported that DTEK energy workers restored power in nearly 176,000 homes in Dnipropetrovsk after Russian shelling in December 2024.
