In Zheltye Vody, operations were halted at a facility that was polluting the air.

On November 26 in Zheltye Vody, the "Eastern Mining and Processing Plant" initiated the launch of a sulfuric acid facility, after which residents immediately noticed an unpleasant odor in the air, reports "Vidomo" citing the Information Portal of the Zhovtovod City Council.

The separate structural division "Zhelotovodsk Intermunicipal Department of the State Institution "Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention" detected elevated levels of harmful substances (sulfur dioxide) in the air – prompting city authorities to halt the plant's operations.
