Longtime colleagues divided by war
Yuri Horbunov and Vladislav Yama collaborated for a long time on the project "Dancing with the Stars." However, with the onset of the full-scale war, their paths diverged. The last meeting between the TV host and the choreographer took place before the war.
Currently, Yama resides in the USA, where he left in the early days of the conflict to ensure his family's safety. Horbunov admits that he was unaware of his colleague's intention to leave and did not offer him any advice.
"I do not judge him"
The showman emphasized that he does not consider himself entitled to judge the choices of others. "Everyone has their own truth", Horbunov noted, adding that everyone has their reasons for acting in a certain way.
In his opinion, even if he were to try to engage in a dialogue with Yama, the latter would likely justify his actions by the need to care for his family.
"There can be no constructive dialogue"
Horbunov believes that in such situations, any accusations will not lead to constructive dialogue. He is convinced that decisions made in difficult circumstances are a personal choice for each individual.
"Vladislav will respond that he was saving his family. And what can be argued against that? Like in other cases—I did not give advice and do not intend to do so. Everyone has their own truth", the TV host added.
