Bill, endorsed by members of the parliamentary Committee on National Security, including its chairman Alexander Zavitenovich, aims to combat illegal activities during the mobilization process.
According to the proposed document, intentional violations of the mobilization or conscription order that result in the illegal conscription of citizens will be punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to eight years.
Additionally, penalties will be imposed on those who falsify medical certificates, forge documents to evade service, or violate mobilization rules.
Moreover, MP Yulia Yatsyk, in her speech at Vechir.LIVE, emphasized that the bill strengthens accountability for such violations.
According to the new provisions:
Those guilty of illegal conscription face imprisonment for up to eight years.
Employees of the Territorial Recruitment Centers and Social Protection who are involved in violations risk up to two years of imprisonment.
This initiative highlights the government's intention to enhance legal accountability and ensure transparency and fairness in the mobilization process.
