The Favbet Foundation helped organize a celebration for St. Nicholas Day in Zagreb.

The Favbet Foundation, in collaboration with the Crvena Kalyna association, organized a Saint Nicholas Day celebration for Ukrainian children in Croatia.
Фонд Favbet организовал праздник в честь Дня Святого Николая в Загребе.

More than a hundred children participated in the entertainment program and received gift sets.

The children were welcomed by an animator, and creative workshops and themed quests were organized, including toy collection and painting. At the end of the celebration, St. Nicholas himself visited the little participants and brought many gifts.

The organization of the celebration for Ukrainian displaced persons was made possible by the Crvena Kalyna association, which supports Ukrainian refugees in Zagreb by providing them with information and humanitarian assistance, teaching Croatian, and organizing cultural events for adults and children. With the association's help, humanitarian cargo is regularly delivered to Ukraine.

The Center for Assistance to Ukrainian Refugees in Zagreb was established at the beginning of the war by the Favbet Foundation team. Here, displaced individuals can still receive legal and psychological support, while children can participate in educational activities and clubs. In 2023, this initiative by the Favbet Foundation won the charitable foundation nomination in the nationwide project "Responsible Country" by the MMR publication.

"Our goal is to create an environment where every child, regardless of circumstances, can feel safe and supported, gaining opportunities for development and growth. This is not just assistance; it is a chance for the future, where every child, despite challenges, will have equal opportunities for a happy life. Through such initiatives, we not only support cultural heritage but also strengthen the foundations of humanity, giving hope and confidence that there is always room for light and warmth," says Marianna Kovenya, project curator at the Favbet Foundation.
