Frigid temperatures of -20°C, along with power and heating outages, have put Ukraine on the brink of crisis.

People's Deputy Sergey Nagornyak stated to The Times of Ukraine that if "Ukrenergo" had not imposed restrictions on electricity supply to industrial consumers, the country could have faced widespread blackouts and even heating interruptions, especially during severe frosts of -20°C.

According to Sergey Nagornyak, the energy system is under significant strain, and balancing supply and demand is becoming increasingly difficult.

Unfortunately, the situation in Ukraine remains critical, and authorities are taking emergency measures to stabilize the grid and prevent a full-scale power outage in the country.
