Data from the Ministry of Finance highlights a significant increase in expenses, particularly as the winter holidays approach. Supermarkets have updated their price tags on popular types of sausage, including smoked and boiled varieties, making holiday shopping even more expensive.
The price of the dry-cured sausage "Alan Braunschweiger" has sharply risen, with the average price jumping from 814.73 UAH to 989.60 UAH per kilogram. In some stores, the price even reaches 1016.90 UAH per kilogram.
Meanwhile, the boiled-smoked sausage "Globino" has also become more expensive, with its average price now at 282 UAH per kilogram.
Boiled sausage, a staple for New Year's salads like Olivier, has also seen a price increase. The average price for "Alan Doctor" sausage is now 435.96 UAH per kilogram, compared to 409.55 UAH.
However, there are more affordable options available: "Auchan Doctor" sausage costs 319.90 UAH per kilogram, while "Globino Doctor" sausage is priced at 317.20 UAH per kilogram.
