According to Andrey Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, on Saturday, 150,000 people crossed the border, and on Sunday — 154,000, with a noticeable trend emerging: more individuals are entering the country than leaving it.
Demchenko also pointed out that currently, the queues for departure are minimal, with only a few dozen vehicles on some routes.
At certain checkpoints, there are no queues at all, indicating normal traffic conditions.
Despite the ongoing state of war, these figures represent a record-high border traffic in recent years, highlighting the increasing movement of people into Ukraine.
