According to the new legislation, the right to benefits will now depend on the income level of each family member. Previously, some citizens received benefits regardless of their income, but that is no longer the case.

In particular, if the average monthly income per person in the household over the last six months exceeds 4240 hryvnias, the household will no longer be eligible for these benefits.

These changes will affect various categories of citizens, including:

Individuals rehabilitated and disabled as a result of repression, as well as pensioners.

Victims of the Chernobyl disaster (categories 1 and 2), spouses of those who died as a result of the disaster, and guardians of the deceased's children.

Former servicemen who became disabled during their service.

Families of servicemen who died or went missing during their service.

Veterans of military service, internal affairs, the National Police, and similar institutions, as well as their widows or widowers.

Former minors and young prisoners of concentration camps and ghettos, as well as children born there.

Deported individuals of retirement age or those with disabilities.

However, certain individuals, such as combat veterans and war disabled persons, will remain unaffected by these changes and will continue to receive benefits under the previous conditions.
