In 2025, some pension recipients will notice an increase in their payments by an additional 2361 hryvnias per month. This provision has been approved in accordance with Article 45 of the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget for 2025."
This additional pension is specifically designated for individuals affected by the Chernobyl disaster who meet the following criteria:
They resided or worked in the zone of unconditional (mandatory) or guaranteed voluntary resettlement as of April 26, 1986.
Or they lived in these areas from April 26, 1986, to January 1, 1993.
These conditions apply to individuals officially recognized as victims of the Chernobyl disaster.
The supplement corresponds to the minimum subsistence level for persons with disabilities, which is 2361 hryvnias in 2025. This additional payment will be issued only during wartime conditions.
No action is required from pensioners entitled to the supplement. It will be calculated automatically based on checks conducted by the State Migration Service, which will confirm continuous residence in the affected areas during the specified time period.
