Retirees will be required to undergo a mandatory procedure; failure to comply could result in the loss of payments from the Pension Fund.

This process can be completed in several ways, as reported by the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU): in person, online, via video call, or through Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad.

Internally displaced pensioners who were required to verify their identity by March 31, 2024, but have not done so, risk losing their payments.

Here are the methods to confirm your identity:

Visit a branch of Oschadbank or a service center of the PFU. Be sure to bring your passport with you.

Utilize the electronic services of the Pension Fund. To confirm your identity, sign the application using Diia Signature or Diia ID.

Register for a video conference with your local territorial office of the Pension Fund.

If you are abroad, visit the nearest Ukrainian diplomatic mission in your country. Obtain a document confirming your residence abroad, and then send it by mail to the PFU along with your application.
